With only three episodes rumored to remain in Season 4 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the Huffington Post is reporting that the H’wives are filming the Season 4 Reunion today, Sept. 7.
While all Housewives reunions are tense and emotionally charged, Jersey’s reunion is expected to be especially dramatic since Season 4 was filmed last summer and some of the ladies haven't seen each other in over a year.
According to HuffPo, filming for the Season 4 reunion began yesterday and is expected to continue through today. A former RHoNJ cast member tells HuffPo that feuding females Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo — who haven’t seen each other since filming together last year — both landed coveted spots on the couch next to host Andy Cohen.
The Housewife insider explains that Caroline and Teresa’s proximity to Mr. Cohen is indicative of how important they are to the show.
“The pressure is on as the reunion shows are not only the highest-rated but they're also an audition to decide who is invited back for next season," the insider reveals. "Pay careful attention to where the producers sit each of the ladies on the couch. The ladies that sit closest to Andy are the ones producers think are the most important and want to invite back.”
As for the gals given spots far away from Andy, the H’wife continues, “If you are seated at the other end of the sofa, you better make sure you perform, or it could be your last show.”
Another source — and current cast member — says she doesn’t expect the reunion to be pretty. "We have all been given the last three unaired episodes to watch and it is brutal. This is going to be a blood bath.”
Even host Andy Cohen tweeted on Friday that the reunion is “epic.”
