It’s time for the kind of shenanigans only The Real Housewives of New Jersey can dish out, so let's get down to it!
The Manzo-Giudice Aftermath
When we last left our Housewives two weeks ago, Teresa Giudice was jetting out of Napa after an episode-long night of bickering with Caroline Manzo. Motivated by their sudden RV-sharin', beach-walkin', booby-grabbin' bonding, Melissa Gorga decided to back up her sister-in-law and insisted on heading out early, too. Jacqueline Laurita was pretending to be asleep and Kathy Wakile was icing her chin.
This week, the Gorgas and the Giudices start off their morning by seeing their kids off for the first day of school, followed by a little healthy gossip. Surprisingly, both Joes finally agree on something — namely, that Caroline is to blame for ruining the end of their otherwise perfectly pleasant vacation. Teresa and Caroline should fight more often.
Later, Melissa invites Jacqueline over to explain to her why she left Napa early and to ask her if she was really asleep? (She was not.) Jacqueline confirms that her and Teresa are good, although she's worried that she has not heard from her since they got back from California. Could this woman be any more insecure?
Meanwhile, Teresa goes to Kathy's house to rehash the toast snub while her daughter Audriana plays with the oven. Next, they discuss the fight with Caroline, with Teresa blowing it off, claiming that she was never really friends with her in the first place, but rather with her sister, Dina. A little foreshadowing, Bravo style. Over at the Manzo house, Melissa tries to talk Caroline into working things out with Teresa, but she wants absolutely no part of it.
Wow, this friendship really is over — who knew Teresa's cookbook would have such an impact?
Over at the Wakile's, Kathy is emotional over the fact that Victoria is looking at out-of-state colleges for her upcoming freshman year. For some reason, her daughter wants to leave New Jersey — shocking. When they go to visit the University of Maryland and get a glimpse at the typical dorm room, however, Victoria is surprised to learn that she will only have one closet in her jail-like room. It's, like, a "whoa" moment for her.
At the end of the day, Kathy thinks maybe going away to school could be a great opportunity for her daughter. She'll just have to learn how to do laundry between now and then.
Caroline Gets Sirius
After her great experience with the local radio station, Caroline is offered a talk show on Sirius XM and the whole family goes to NYC to weigh in during her hour. The station manager assures her that the calls would start pouring in as soon as she gave out the number, so she's a little thrown off when she gets crickets instead.
And yet, maybe it's even worse when the calls do start coming in, putting Caroline on the spot with uncomfortable questions like what was the worst fight during the Napa trip and what's the status of her relationship with sister Dina.
Speaking Of The Devil ...
Teresa is all glittered up for her Fabellini launch party, to which she invited her close friends and family. Although her brother wasn't invited. Or her bestie, Jacqueline. Here's who was invited: Dina Manzo, Caroline's alienated sister. Well-timed, Teresa.
Tune in next week, when Melissa is exposed as a stripper!
