Teresa Giudice was beyond excited for her oldest daughter, Gia, to perform at the Beatstock music festival, but Gia’s moment in the spotlight (which was featured on last Sunday’s episode) was slightly overshadowed by the Giudice’s digs at Melissa Gorga.

When talking to the cameras, Teresa made it clear that she wasn’t a fan of Melissa singing her songs along with a track, instead of just singing them live by herself. However, in her latest BravoTV.com blog, Teresa wants her fans to know that her comments were not meant to insult Melissa in anyway.

Teresa explains, “I was also serious when I said I wanted to hear Melissa sing without all the background vocals and auto-tune. It wasn't meant as an insult in any way, I've just known her for eight years now, and I know singing is her passion, but I've never heard her sing!”

“I want to be able to brag about how good she is, but I've never heard her,” she continues.

But Teresa wasn’t the only Giudice criticizing Melissa’s singing career. Teresa’s daughters also playfully mocked their aunt and her fondness for autotune, and while it looked like Teresa was supporting their behavior (she was shown on camera laughing alongside them), she insists that wasn’t the case.

“As far as Milania's little comments, no I don't condone them and she got in trouble right afterwards,” Teresa explained.

Teresa knows her daughters went too far, but she encourages people to remember that they are just kids, and have the utmost respect for their aunt and uncle.

Teresa writes, “Please don't judge them. They're just kids, they're really good kids, and they are raised to respect and love everyone in the family. You can see that by how they always greet their Zia Melissa and Zio Joe.”

What did you think of Teresa’s daughter’s remarks?
