Melissa Gorga may be a singing sensation and reality television star in her own right, but it turns out that the brunette beauty is no stranger to Hollywood connections. In a tweet she sent out on Monday afternoon, Melissa revealed that the original Karate Kid — Ralph Macchio — is her cousin.

Melissa’s sister, Lysa, sent Bravo exec Andy Cohen a tweet that read, “Andy did you know Ralph Macchio & @melissagorga are cousins? #Fact @BravoAndy.”
Melissa happily confirmed the news, adding, “Yes we are!!”
