Fans of Real Housewives of New York know that Jill Zarin and drama often go hand-in-hand. The former Housewife, who was suddenly dropped from the cast in 2011, recently admitted on Oprah: Where Are They Now? that her firing didn’t come as a shock at all.

But does Jill regret her decision to join the cast of RHONY in the first place? Not one bit! In fact, Jill seems to have enjoyed lots of things about the show... including all the drama.

The mother of two, 50, tells Oprah that choosing to sign on for the show was “1000 percent” the right decision. “I was given the opportunity of a lifetime. Not every woman wants that opportunity, but a girl like me? With a mouth like mine? It’s a dream come true.”

Jill makes no apologies for her bold, tell-it-like-it-is personality. “Yes, there was drama, and this and that. But we all knew how lucky we were. And I have to admit, I liked the drama. I really did. I kind of liked it,” she says.

The former Housewife says she enjoyed every aspect of the drama: the fights, the making up, all of it. “I was perfect for it,” she says. “Let’s be honest. I was perfectly suited for the show.”

Why Jill Zarin Was Really Fired from The Real Housewives of New York City

For four seasons of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City, Jill Zarin brought in ratings with her outspoken nature and ongoing feud with her former best friend, Bethenny Frankel. Now, she shares the reason the studio gave for firing her—and reveals why she doesn't believe them. Plus, Jill explains why she'd do it all over again.
