Alex McCord Calls B.S. on Sonja: LuAnn Isn't Having a Baby to Keep Jacques (VIDEO)

Alex McCord, our favorite Real Housewives of New York alum vlogger, has called B.S. on what Sonja Morgan said about LuAnn de Lesseps’s baby fever motives on Monday night’s episode, Season 5, Episode 10: "You Want To What Me In The Where."

In her latest RumorFix RHONY recap, Alex points out the fact that the interviews which are intercut with footage on the show are often taken months after the fact, giving the ladies plenty of time to do a little revisionist history. She thinks that’s what happened with Sonja’s story.

On the episode, we saw Sonja and LuAnn go to lunch together and Sonja seems to think that the Countess is only having the baby to keep her younger boyfriend, Jacques.

“LuAnn and Sonja had lunch. LuAnn talked about wanting to have a baby with Jacques. This is not new news, we’ve heard it before. She’s gone for acupuncture, she’s talked about it … It’s clearly something she’s considering, at least for purposes of the show,” Alex explained.

“Sonja wanted to find out her motives. Sonja cares about LuAnn, she wants to make sure that intentions are honest and above board,” she continued. “However, we cut to the interview, and suddenly Sonja is saying that LuAnn wants to have a baby in order to keep Jacques. Guess what, that’s not what LuAnn said. I don’t buy this. I call B.S. on this.”

Later in the episode, Sonja breaks down in tears, telling Jacques that he needs to propose to LuAnn and that she doesn’t want to see “the same thing” happen to her friend that happened to her. It isn’t clear what broke up Sonja and her ex-husband, John Morgan, but Sonja hints that it might have had something to do with him wanting more children and she being unable to give him more.
