No longer a part of The Real Housewives of New York cast, former cast member Alex McCord has taken her newly-found voice to RumorFix where she offers up vlog recaps of each episode of the new season and reveals some interesting behind-the-scenes intel about one of our favorite shows.

In recapping Season 5, Episode 3: "Boozy Brunch," Alex says that she is seeing a lot of “spaghetti on the walls” scenes, which she says is a biz term for producers trying to set up dates with the cast members to see who will (and won’t) get along. (Hence all those random lunch meetings and pedicures this season.)

Of the new Housewives, Alex picks out Aviva Drescher as the one to make the biggest splash this season. However, Alex has one warning to give Aviva: Don’t bring your husband to “girls only” events! Alex was always getting grief from her fellow castmates for toting along her husband Simon to every lunch, cocktail hour, and event. Even Ramona hinted that Aviva’s dependency on Reid was giving her Alex and Simon flashbacks! (And that is never a good thing, especially for Ramona.)

Alex also reveals that the infamous trips that we see on all the Real Housewives shows are usually planned and organized by producers. Alex admits that she doesn't know if Heather’s London trip was organized by producers, but knowing this adds an extra layer to Ramona’s paranoia over being excluded from the trip.
