Real Housewives of New York star Aviva Drescher really let Ramona Singer have it on Season 5, Episode 17: “Don’t Make Room For Daddy”.

After discovering that Ramona had called up her ex-husband Harry Durbin to find out whether Aviva was as dependent on him as she is on her current hubby Reid, Aviva met up with Ramona for brunch and gave her a piece of her mind.

Aviva let loose on Ramona and accused her of being an “ill-mannered, rough-around-the-edges woman” who behaves like she’s on Girls Gone Wild and who can’t get by without drinking.

Unlike her last barrage of insults against Ramona, Aviva’s not sorry for this one.

In her latest Bravo blog, Aviva defends her attacks on Ramona and indicates that the reason drinking irks her so is that she lost her mother to alcoholism. So that explains why she’s always harping on her co-stars for hitting the sauce.

“I’m not an expert, but my mom died six years ago of alcoholism. I’ve seen the havoc and devastation that alcoholism can wreak, and it makes me overly sensitive to heavy drinking,” she wrote.

“Do I think Ramona needs to go to 'rehab?' No. I am certainly not the appropriate person to comment on people’s drinking ... I need to remove myself from that topic as it is too close to home. The footage speaks for itself, and I will let you be the judge.”

What she would declare, though, is that Ramona is “rude and insensitive” and “will stop at nothing to cover up the truth. She will lie, discredit people, run away, or over-talk to deflect attention from her [own] bad behavior.”

Yikes!
