Ramona Singer has always had a difficult time figuring out how to react to Aviva Drescher's disability, and on The Real Housewives of New York Season 5, Episode 11: “This Party Is Toast” she once again went to far — at least according to Aviva herself!

During the episode, Aviva expressed concern about an upcoming girl's trip to St. Barts, citing her anxiety around heights and being away from her hubby/best friend, Reid. Ramona was baffled by this, stating in a confessional that she just doesn't understand how Aviva can ask everyone to ignore her disability and anxiety issues, but then make such a big deal about it.

In her Bravo blog about the episode, Aviva wrote that she was grateful for the girls' initial support for her anxiety, but she was wary of  the "snakes" in their group. "I sensed several hedonistic women who would later forget this gathering, lose any sense of compassion and kindness, and prioritize themselves and superficiality above all else."

Does she mean Ramona? Maybe, because she goes on to complain that "Ramona somehow thinks she has a say in how my prosthetic leg can and cannot affect me," adding that she thinks Ramona tried to use Aviva's lack of a swimming leg to her own advantage in Miami: "I adjusted to [forgetting my swimming leg] and moved on. It was Ramona who used my little situation to get herself where she wanted to be — which was out of the pool and into the car where Mario was waiting downstairs to take her partying."

"Who is Ramona to tell me when my 'disability' affects me or not?" Aviva wrote. "This is the way it is. I have anxiety that interferes with traveling... These are defining moments for real friendships. A friend has a problem. How will the others handle it? With compassion and understanding? Or self interest and mockery?"

Aviva got in a dig at Sonja Morgan, too, saying, "Did Sonja Morgan just give me marital advice on how to keep my husband missing me? As the story goes, she lost her husband on her last girls' trip. Enough said."

Harsh! Is Aviva totally right, or was Ramona well meaning, if a little off base with how she handled the situation?

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
