Gotta love Twitter for connecting audiences with celebrities, especially when it yields nuggets of gold like this exchange between a viewer and Real Housewives of New York star Aviva Drescher.

It all started when Aviva submitted a question to Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga, asking whether she’s ever been a stripper.  “Had you been 1, I bet you were elegant and beautiful and I would have happily come and watched!” she wrote.

Aviva immediately got some heated feedback from a follower named Karima, who said, “WHY ARE YOU UP MELISSA’s A** … uugggh! i hate when people like you tweet things like this!”

She quickly went on the defensive and responded, “excuse me Karima, I am not up anyones a**. Who CARES If she was an exotic dancer???? Chill.”

Karima then proceeded to tell her exactly why she did care about the comment by pointing out Aviva’s apparent change of heart. If Aviva supports Melissa’s alleged dirty dancing, why had she been so hard on co-stars Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan for their own little table dancing adventures during Season 5, Episode 17: “Don’t Make Room for Daddy?”

Karima wrote, “U WERE MAD THAT RAMONA AND SONJA WERE DANCING ON TABLES!UR UP HER A** IF SHE DANCED 4 MONEY ITS OK BUT THEY CANT HAVE FUN!WTF.”

Aviva tried to defend the inconsistency by positing, “our actions are radically different before /after we have children. Behavioral expectations are not the same. Get it?”

Do you agree with Karima, or do you see Aviva’s side in things?

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
