Bethenny Frankel's Advice: Blow Off Holiday Parties With People You Don't Like
Bethenny Frankel may be the queen of tact in most cases, but when it comes to certain subjects, the Real Housewives of New York alum has a bit of a mean streak!
In her latest “Ask Bethenny” blog, she addressed the issue of unwanted holiday party invitations from non-friends, and she has a very blunt strategy.
“Life is too short to spend time with people you don’t care for,” she wrote. “As I sometimes do myself, politely decline. Don’t lie, but don’t go because you’re afraid to say no. Blow it off, plain and simple.”
Okay, so she slipped a “politely” in there too, but in the end that reads like a major diss and dismiss prerogative — just the classy version. Perhaps that’s what was going down when she neglected to wish some of her former RHONY co-stars happy birthdays?
Well, as she says, life's too short to waste with people you don't like!
