Bethenny Frankel will be hitting the small screen in an all-new way this spring when she guest-stars on ABC’s The Neighbors for her first scripted acting role.
The former Real Housewives of New York star will play as a woman helping Jami Gertz’s character formulate a pocketbook business. It sounds like a perfect role for our favorite entrepreneur! Filming for the episode began this week.

As it turns out, she’ll also be fulfilling a lifelong dream of hers.

She tweeted about the experience and revealed that acting was something she wanted to do decades ago. “Enjoying working on @theneighborsABC Funny how I used to want to be an actress. 20 years later...full circle. All roads lead to Rome,” she wrote.

Well how about that. What a lovely little coincidence for her.

In addition to settling old aspirations, the former Real Housewives of New York star could probably use a distraction right about now. As she tearfully explained about her on-going divorce from Jason Hoppy, she’s been experiencing “excruciating” emotional pain lately. Good thing she’s keeping busy.
