Could The Widow’s Guide to Sex and Dating soon become a TV show?

Author and Real Housewives of New York star Carole Radziwill revealed on this week’s episode (Season 5, Episode 5: “The Cool Girls”) that she and her TV writing partner have found a “big Hollywood producer” who is interested in turning her first novel into a TV show. The only problem? The book hasn’t been published yet.

The normally cool and collected Carole was (understandably) overcome with joy when she talked to her partner during the episode and she told her that the producer was very interested. However, the producer wants to see the book before signing off on anything.

That last bit worries us since filming for the show wrapped six or so months ago and we still haven’t heard anything about the release of the book. Carole previously told us that we will see her “finish the book” during the show, so that gives us some hope that the book is at least in the process of getting published now.

Carole has been working on her debut novel for four years. Her previous book, What Remains, was a New York Times Bestseller. Since we know Carole can write, we can’t wait to get our hands on The Widow’s Guide.

Hurry up with that book, Carole!

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
