Former Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin has been just itching to return to TV. That much was made very clear by her boycotting plea to fans and their resulting Twitter campaign to bring her back to RHONY.

Last week, though, a Bravo exec confirmed once and for all that Jill wouldn’t be making way back onto the show. Never fear! Jill’s scored herself a brand new deal to keep her face on the small screen.

Jill blogged about the new venture yesterday, announcing that she’ll be featured in a weekly reality television-related segment of ABC’s new Good Afternoon America, a spin-off of their popular Good Morning America, which she’ll host each Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.

Jill’s first segment of the show will air on Wednesday, July 11, and she intends to cover programs like America’s Got Talent, The Bachelorette, and more with her own opinions on the shows’ news. “It is part time and yet still gives me an opportunity to talk to all of you every week and keep it real,” she gushed.

She also gave snappy thanks to Bravo on Twitter for giving her the RHONY ax! Her passive-aggressive tweet on the subject reads, “It's exactly what I wanted. Not too many hours. One door closes one opens. they [sic] wouldn't give it to a housewife so I am so grateful to @bravotv.”

Jill’s former RHONY co-star, Bethenny Frankel, has also enjoyed some success since leaving the show. She currently runs her own new talk show, Bethenny, on FOX.
