As Wetpaint Entertainment recently confirmed, at least two women have been approached about potentially joining Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York for its sixth season – fashion personality Jene Luiciani and one other– but it’s still not clear whether any of the show’s five current castmates will get the ax or stay and simply be joined by the potential newcomers.

Former RHONY castmate Alex McCord seemed to believe that LuAnn de Lesseps and Heather Thomson are in the most danger of getting the boot, and a recent report from Star Magazine has promoted that theory.

According to that story, an insider has revealed that Heather and LuAnn are on the way out with stylist Mary Alice Stephenson and real estate guru Rachel Glazer taking their place because Heather’s time on the show was “boring” and LuAnn did not give enough of a glimpse into her dramatic personal life for the producers’ fancy.

Gossip Cop has now refuted that report with a so-called “impeccable Bravo insider” and states that the story is “completely false.”

So, it looks like LuAnn and Heather’s spots are safe … for now at least.
