Former Real Housewives of New York star Alex McCord and her hubby Simon Van Kempen returned to reality television this fall on the new VH1 series Couples Therapy, and it looks like Alex has already made at least one nemesis on the show.

Alex, who has used her RHONY experiences to give viewers insider insight into the show all throughout Season 5, had to defend herself regarding rumors that she attacked Couples Therapy co-star Courtney Stodden.

According to the Huffington Post, Courtney – who’s known for being a controversial teen bride – claimed Alex physically attacked her during taping for an upcoming episode.
Alex hasn’t denied the story at all, but she did come forth to clarify the news.

"Most people know I have a very long fuse, but when it blows ... watch out," Alex said. "I, along with everyone else in the house, was getting sick of Courtney and her teenaged striptease ... I just wanted to wipe that condescending smirk off her face.”

Alex continued, “Rightly or wrongly, I decided to take matters into my own hands, raced into my bedroom, grabbed a few singles and tucked them in her miniscule skirt ... I figured if she's going to dress like a stripper we might as well drop the pretense — and it's rude not to tip.”

As much as Alex McCord can read between the lines of the drama on RHONY, it sounds like she’s still not exempt from it herself!
