During last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York (Season 5, Episode 4: “Diss-Invite”) newbie castmates Aviva Drescher and Carole Radziwill admitted that they thought it was "rude" of Heather Thomson to have her assistant confirm her social appointments. Well, Heather isn’t taking the “rude” accusation likely.

In her latest blog for BravoTV.com, Heather takes issue with the ladies’ comments, noting that some of them don’t work (probably referring to stay-at-home mom Aviva) and they also have extra help around the house and at work.

“It was actually funny, to see that moment, knowing all too well who at that table does not go into an office daily, or work at all, who has several nannies, and who has hired assistants/interns since that lunch. . .not to mention what they have those assistants doing,” Heather wrote. “Hee hee hee. But, as my mom always says, don't judge another until you've walked a mile in their shoes.”

It’s no secret that many of the women have assistants, nannies, and, in Sonja’s case, interns who help them with their day-to-day lives. It isn’t easy being a Housewife!

Heather goes on to say that she didn’t think that her assistant was being rude since she notes that she introduced herself in the beginning of the email.

Hm, this is a tricky social situation. Maybe we should call the Countess to weigh in.

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
