Leave it to The Real Housewives of New York stars Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan to stir up trouble at a glitzy Hamptons event.

On August 18, the blonde power couple (along with Ramona’s husband Mario Singer) attended the “Bizarre Animals and Exotic Creatures” event hosted by Sir Ivan Wilzig in Water Mill. Somehow, Ramonja found themselves at the center of a dramatic kerfuffle which ended in a mess of police officers and shrill high society crowds.

According to the Wall Street Journal, guests were supposed to take shuttles from Sir Ivan’s “Castle” back to the serene roads where they lived — a sort of party bus for socialites. And that’s where the trouble started.

“While waiting for shuttles,” the WSJ reports, “a crush of guests including Real Housewives of New York City stars Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan got impatient and a little rowdy.”

“‘Where is a camera when you need it?’ complained Ms. Singer, who was not being filmed.”

As fans of all things related to Ramonja’s kooky behavior, we do wish the cameras were rolling on this epic scene. Apparently, “the crowd quieted down after a police officer arrived, threatening arrest. The guests, he explained, were disturbing the peace.”

Hey, now. Those officers should consider themselves lucky to be so close to a Ramonja disturbance! All we can do is watch ‘em on TV.

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
