Real Housewives of New York Season 5 has gotten off to a dramatic start, with the addition of three new cast members causing drama with veteran Ramona Singer. She and Heather Thomson came to emotional blows when Heather didn’t invite her to the trip to London and stirred up a whole whirlwind of controversy at Sonja Morgan’s party. However, according to Ramona, it’s not Heather who causes the real drama yet to come.
In a new interview with Dan’s Hamptons, Ramona claims she “embraced [all three new Housewives] equally. Just like real life, the dynamics are different.” She admits she and Heather had a row from the get-go (as we saw), while “Aviva [Drescher] was attempting to be my BFF.”
However, when the ladies trekked out to St. Bart's for a little vacation things really changed between Ramona and Aviva.
According to Ramona, “all of a sudden Aviva became possessed and I did not know who she was and now we are not really on great terms because of that.”
The one new NYC Housewives star who didn't rub Ramona the wrong way was Carole Radziwill. Ramona says Carole “is sort of more about peace, love, flower power she really doesn’t like to have altercations with anyone.”
We do love it when Ramona starts scolding, so the St. Barts trip sounds very promising!
