RHONY Band Claims LuAnn Treated Them Badly at Christmas Party
Ruh roh. Stumblebums, the band which Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps hired to perform during her Life & Style Christmas party on Season 5, Episode 10: "You Want To What Me In The Where," has spoken up about how they were treated during the gig, and it ain't good news.
Writing to RumorFix in response to Alex McCord's most recent vlog in which she teased about the, erm, colorful language of the band’s post-“Jingle Bells” song choice (two expletives were in the title alone), the band explained that while it "did exactly what it was supposed to do" during LuAnn's holiday shindig and the socialite was a royal pain in the you-know-what for them.
"The band waited 2 hours for LuAnn to show up for a rehearsal, she blew it off. [The network Bravo] showed none of that," their message reads.
"LuAnn took a glass of wine from the singer (his first and only glass of wine) after missing her rehearsal. The viewer also didn’t see the part where she doesn’t want to pay us because it’s going to be on Bravo. Like it’s OK for her to make 26K an episode but the band shouldn’t make anything. Anyhow the band did make a hundred dollars a guy. A nominal fee for working and being treated like crap."
Who would’ve expected the Countess to be so tight on the purse strings.
