On The Real Housewives of New York Season 5 Reunion Part 2, LuAnn de Lesseps finally told the whole story behind that suspicious evening with the pirate. And Heather Thomson, who wasn’t buying the story at the time, actually saved her.

When host Andy Cohen pressed LuAnn on her behavior, she explained that she was hanging out with Italian friends at the club, and Tomas gave her a ride home. He claimed he had never seen the house (which Carole Radziwill pointed out was a lie; he’d been at a party at the house the year before), so she invited him in to see the house.

Heather piped in to say that she remembers LuAnn and Tomas knocking on her door in the middle of the night, asking if she wanted to have a cocktail. Now, that seems to seal LuAnn’s story for us. If LuAnn and Tomas were up to something secret and naughty, why would they invite Heather to have a drink with them?

But once LuAnn explained that she had lied and felt terrible about her cover-up, Ramona Singer “dropped a bomb” as Heather would say. She told Andy, “LuAnn loves her men and she can’t keep her hands off of them.” That sparked LuAnn into suggesting that Ramona was “no goody two-shoes” herself, and LuAnn warned Ramona, “Don’t go there,” because she’d seen Ramona in some “precarious” situations.

Was LuAnn insinuating that she’s seen Ramona cheat on husband Mario Singer? Is that the impression you got? If so, do you think there’s any truth to that?
