RHONY’s LuAnn Gives an Update on Her “Warmer” Relationship With Ramona (VIDEO)

LuAnn de Lesseps made a very elegant appearance on WPIX in New York this morning (July 16), and the Countess managed to convince us that there may be hope for her and Ramona Singer’s damaged friendship after all.

After a sneak peek from tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York (Season 5, Episode 7: “Good Trip, Bad Fall”) shows LuAnn and Ramona having a pretty polite and even touchy-feely chat, LuAnn said, “Ramona and I have made some peace. At least that night, we made some peace.”

The Countess continued, “Ramona and I have never been really close, but … this season [we’re] finding a deal that works. Ramona and I have a love/hate relationship and it’s getting a little bit warmer.”

When asked why she thinks they may have reconciled, however briefly, LuAnn said that “Ramona is being much more gentle with me.”

It’s hard to imagine a gentle Ramona, particularly around LuAnn. But LuAnn also admitted that “It takes [time for] Carole [Radziwill] and I to warm up a little bit. There’s a little royal war going on.” So at least we know there will be a catfight (or two) on tonight’s episode!
