Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel had a big announcement to make for fans last week on Ellen. Her show Bethenny, which ran as a trial for six weeks over the summer, has been picked up!

While she couldn’t divulge too many details at the time, Ellen DeGeneres did tease “it is safe to say [Bethenny] will be on television soon. The television show will be back on the air.”

Now, The Hollywood Reporter has new details on what’s to come from Bethenny, and it looks like Bethenny’s fans are in for a treat in 2013.

Although no premiere date has been set, Fox Television Stations will be airing the show next year (2013), with Ellen’s own company A Very Good Production on board to produce. The trial run of the show reportedly did well, especially with female audiences aged 25 to 54.

Bethenny’s statement on the news reads, “Hosting a talk show this summer and connecting with women every day made me realize that I have found my true passion ... My heartfelt thanks go out to my dedicated fans who tuned in and helped make this great opportunity happen.”

Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution’s president, Ken Warner, added, “We always believed that Bethenny had the talent, popularity and credibility with daytime viewers to become appointment television and are thrilled to be bringing her to the rest of the country.”

This is really great news for Bethenny! We’ll certainly be tuning in — will you?

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
