Real Housewives of New York star Aviva Drescher has a lot of fans, but she doesn’t like to call them that.

The breakout star of Season 5 told popular Real Housewives blogger Tamara Tattles that she dislikes the term “fans” when talking about her admirers.

No fans 4 me! ‘Fans’ r for singers, dancers, actors, artists,” Aviva said over Twitter after Tamara called herself a fan. “I do appreciate your kindness and support !”

On the one hand, we find Aviva’s humble attitude refreshing. (If only all Housewives were as carefree as her!) However, in this day an age, reality stars are bona fide celebrities, and they can certainly have real “fans.” If it wasn’t for their fans’ support, people like Bethenny Frankel and NeNe Leakes would have never gotten as big as they have!

Do you think Aviva is right to not call her fans “fans”? Vote in the reaction buttons below.
