If you were a fan of the first two seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County, you undoubtedly remember Jo De La Rosa, who was one of the show's original cast members. But she left the show after she and Slade Smiley called off their engagement. So what has she been up to since then?
Jo was only 26 when she started appearing on the show. She left at the end of Season 2, moving to Los Angeles to pursue a singing career. Her first album, Unscripted, was released in August 2008.
That year, she also appeared with Slade in a RHOC spin-off on Bravo called Date My Ex: Jo & Slade, during which Jo dated a bunch of guys who were living in a house with Slade. Needless to say, the show didn't last long.
Slade is now in a serious relationship with Jo's friend Gretchen Rossi, while Jo has been dating boyfriend Mark Lovette (pictured above) for two years. Mark is the CEO and founder of a marketing and ad firm, and Jo herself is now a marketing and ad sales exec.
Jo is in a good place, but she's not thrilled that Gretchen is dating her ex. "Considering she had met Slade through me while we were dating, it was just kind of interesting to see that once I moved to L.A., they ended up together," Jo said in 2013 about Slade and Gretchen's relationship.
Still, it sounds like Jo and Slade are both doing well now, so we continue to wish them the best.
Are you surprised by what Jo is up to now?
