Real World Star Gets Restraining Order Against Incubus Frontman, Claims He Threatened to Kill Her
This is the story of what happens people stop being polite and start getting real a restraining order. Former The Real World: Key West star Svetlana Shusterman has gotten a restraining order against Incubus lead singer Brandon Boyd — but Brandon claims he's never even met her.
TMZ reports that Svetlana has been granted a temporary restraining order against the rock star after claiming that he has been stalking her and has threatened to kill her. She filed a police report that states Brandon, 38, followed her car onto the freeway and yelled threats at her.
She adds that she moved to her friend's home, but that Brandon somehow managed to discover her whereabouts. "Every day, I am terrified," she writes. Brandon has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from her until a court hearing in April.
For his part, Brandon is said to be completely bewildered by these claims. "Brandon has been advised about this but doesn’t know anything about it," says the singer's rep. "He doesn’t know this person, nor does he recall ever having met her."
Svetlana appeared on Real World in 2006 at the age of 19 and was a pre-med student at the time. Meanwhile, Incubus has released three platinum-selling albums.
