Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth Chapman were involved in a multi-car hit-and-run accident in Hawaii. According to TMZ, the 61-year-old reality TV star and his wife appear to be unharmed, though ambulances have been dispatched for possible minor injuries on the scene. The celebrity couple was driving a black GMC Yukon on Highway 1 when a white Chevy truck rear-ended them with a possible third vehicle being involved. The police are currently on the scene and have placed the driver of the water Chevy truck in handcuffs for reasons unknown.

Earlier this summer, Dog and Beth were involved in another dust up involving a car, but this time in Colorado. A teenager filed a criminal harassment complaint after Beth yelled expletives at her while the teenager whizzed by Beth and her family. Beth blew off the court summons, which resulted in an arrest warrant (oh, the irony!), to which her lawyers resolved.
Though his CMT series features wild car chases and automobile crashes, we're happy that no serious injuries or fatalities have been reported from today's crash. Dog's family has met with such tragedy in the past. In May 2006, Dog's oldest daughter Barbara passed away in a car accident in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth Chapman's show Dog and Beth: On the Hunt was recently renewed for a second season on CMT. It was the highest-rated CMT show in 2013, and will return to the small screen in mid-2014.
