In all the hype surrounding Dean McDermott’s infamous infidelity, it’s easy to forget how he and estranged wife Tori Spelling began their own relationship. Not to cast stones, but Dean and Tori were technically both married when they started their love affair on the set of Lifetime movie Mind Over Murder.
Of course, that’s ancient history at this point (well, if you’re not Dean’s first wife, Mary Jo Eustace, or Tori’s first husband, Charlie Shanian). Tori and Dean made it all official on May 7, 2006, and now have four children together. And things looked to be white picket perfect until Dean took a little trip up north.
We’ve already heard plenty (if not too much) about the 47-year-old actor’s affair with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand, with more details emerging every day as Tori’s new docu-series, True Tori, kicks off on Lifetime (how fitting). Despite the initial footage, though, True Tori isn’t just a hate-fest centered around Dean. The blond mama is also looking at her own life choices.
In the video above, watch as Tori gets a dose of real talk from a close friend. Thanks to his careful nudging, Tori opens up about her own history of cheating and what it could mean for her and Dean’s marriage.
What do you make of Tori’s talk? Think she and Dean stand a chance?
