Channing Tatum Developing Reality Show About His New Orleans Restaurant
Are you ready to welcome Channing Tatum into your living room? You better be — he's bringing a new reality show to TV!
The Magic Mike star, who was also People's pick for 2012's Sexiest Man Alive, has been noticeably (and unbearably) absent from our lives the past few months. But it's understandable — he took a hiatus from acting and welcomed a daughter with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
So imagine our excitement in learning that the 33-year-old hunk is taking his talent to the small screen. The only downside is that he might not actually be on-screen so much.
As Entertainment Weeklyreports, Channing is developing a reality show with A&E, which will focus on Saints & Sinners, the bar and restaurant Channing opened in New Orleans a year ago with business partner Keith Kurtz.
Eatery-based reality shows have fared well recently, highlighting drama behind the scenes (Kitchen Nightmares) and front-of-house (Vanderpump Rules), so we are excited to see the shenanigans that go down in Channing's scandalously-named Bourbon Street restaurant.
But if you're more interested in Channing in front of the camera, you'll be happy to know that his acting break didn't last long — he has five movies in the pipeline, including the true crime drama Foxcatcher, the sci-fi epic Jupiter Ascending, and the comedic sequel 22 Jump Street.
