Renee Oteri Expecting a Boy! What’s His Name — And Will He Get a Sister? Exclusive

Renée Oteri better get out the blue paint, because the pregnant Bachelor 18 fan favorite is expecting another boy! The fourth place finisher from Juan Pablo Galavis’s disaster season revealed her pregnancy in July, but didn’t announce the baby’s sex until her Sarasota, Florida-set wedding reception on Saturday, August 23.

The reality starlet confirmed to Wetpaint Entertainment that she and husband Bracy Maynard, whom she married in March of this year, are looking forward to welcoming a brother for her 9-year-old son, Ben. Renee’s little slugger is stoked to have a brother on the way, and he was even part of the announcement, when guests at Saturday’s soiree popped blue confetti while celebrating.

As for the baby’s name? Renee tells us exclusively that there’s a familiar moniker in the running. (And no, it’s not Juan Pablo.) “Bracy is definitely a possibility. It’s a family name, with my Bracy, his dad, and his dad’s dad all named Bracy.” To avoid confusion, they’d likely call the little guy “BJ,” for Bracy Junior, which was the father-to-be’s nickname when he was a kid.

With two sons, a husband, and a boy dog in the house, we had to wonder if Ray feels a little outnumbered, and if she’ll try for a girl after her little one comes in four months. “Oh yeah, definitely, we really want a girl.” And there will be no rest for the super active, frequent Tough Mudder mama. “We’ll be trying for another ASAP!” she tells us.

Good thing she’s still close to so many castmates (Fellow Season 18 survivors Clare Crawley, Cassandra Ferguson, Chelsie Webster, Alli Restko, and Lauren Solomon were in attendance for the party weekend, which also included a stand-up paddleboard session.) She’s going to need a babysitter or two for sure!
