Grey’s Anatomy to Air Repeats on Thursday Nights Starting April 17
We've got good news, Grey's Anatomyfans — only, it's bad news if you're a fan of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.
Grey's will start airing repeats every Thursday night at 8 p.m. starting April 17, meaning we get two hours of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital drama every week. Why? ABC is using reruns to fill in the timeslot now vacated by Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, which the network officially cancelled on March 28.
Wonderland, a freshman series and a spin-off of Once Upon a Time, will air its season finale — and series finale — on April 3.
Then, on April 10, ABC will air a one-time airing of Shark Tank, before turning the pre-Grey's hour over to Grey's on April 17.
But yes, the 8 p.m. airing will be old episodes of our fave medical drama. Unfortunately, the cast and crew can only work so hard — but think how nice it will be to get two new hours of Grey's every week.
Meanwhile, Grey's Anatomy hasn't officially been renewed for Season 11, but there's practically no chance of it succumbing to Wonderland's fate. Even a decade after it first premiered, Grey's delivers solid ratings for ABC.
Guess we'll have to wait to see what the lead-in for Grey's will be next season! R.I.P. Wonderland.
