In the episode, Teresa is asked about a gossip story in which she was recently spotted at a sushi place with Melissa's former pal Jan DeDolce over the summer. Teresa claims that she just happened to bump into Jan, and then she accuses Melissa of being the one to notify gossip site Radar Online of the run-in.
"I heard that you had a contract over at Radar Online, that as long as you keep giving them bad stories about me, they won't publish anything bad about you," Teresa says to Melissa. However, Melissa responds by saying, "It's not true. That's one more thing in life that I get accused of that I didn't do." These two just can't get along, can they?
Who's telling the truth? Well, Radar Online has now chimed in to get Melissa's back. "Melissa has never sold a story to RadarOnline.com," says the site's editor-in-chief. "There is no contract, agreement, or deal to provide sweetheart coverage about Melissa."
"It’s a complete fabrication," the editor adds. "Perhaps Teresa was given some wrong information, but we’re happy to set the record straight for Teresa, Melissa, the other Housewives, and all the fans of New Jersey."
So it appears that Teresa may have gotten some bad intel there. But let us know what you think: Is Teresa mistaken, or did Melissa probably still have something to do with these stories getting leaked?
