Will Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev Reunite at the 2014 Peoples Choice Awards?

Though Vampire Diaries stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev officially called it quits on their three-year relationship back in May, rumors are flying that the co-stars are getting hot and heavy again. Regardless of their current relationship status, they spend a lot of time together — both on the TVD set and at the occasional celebrity function. As both are up for a People’s Choice Award this year, will they reunite at tonight’s ceremony?

Not only will Nina and Ian both be in attendance at the event, but the co-stars will be seated next to one another. The official blog for the People’s Choice Award just released a bunch of photos of their seating arrangements for the big night, and guess whose gorgeous mugs are attached to abutting chairs? Yep, Nina (and guest) and Ian (and guest) will have all night to chat as they anxiously await their potential awarding. Ian will also get to share his picks for best dressed with pop diva Britney Spears, as she is seated on Ian’s other side.

We’ve already ranted about why Ian deserves to come home with the statue for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actor and why Nina should walk away with another PCA win for “Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actress,” but — regardless of the award outcome — we can’t wait to see these two back together. Hopefully, they’ll find the time to make their way over to the seat of former TVDer and current star of The Originals Joseph Morgan, who is up for Favorite Actor in a New Series. If you were wondering, the sexy Brit is seated next to Pretty Little LiarsLucy Hale. Basically, our heads may just explode with the amount of mingling between our favorite television stars at tonight’s event. You’ve been warned.
