Lisa Vanderpump Reveals She Had “Serious” Skin Cancer — Is She OK?

Lisa Vanderpump usually wows us with her style and grace, so imagine our surprise when our favorite Real Housewives of Beverly Hills gal took to Twitter to announce that she had “serious” skin cancer. We’re thrilled that she’s “all clear,” but we’re still reeling in shock from the fact that she was silently going through this scary time in her life.

The 53-year-old British bombshell — who recently celebrated a birthday on September 15 — took to social media Monday night, August 18, to reveal that she was doing just fine despite a brush with cancer. “Fantastic news I have all clear for biopsies after having experienced serious skin cancer,” she began. “I urge you to get tested and hide from sun!”

We’re very happy to hear that Lisa is in the clear and the biopsies came back benign and we totally respect her for using her medical emergency as a platform to urge people to be careful when dealing with their skin and the harmful effects of the sun.

Perhaps Lisa will take this even further and become a spokesperson for skin cancer prevention. She may not be total besties with Yolanda Foster at the moment, but definitely respects our lemon-loving blonde for constantly informing the public about Lyme disease.

Lisa, being the savvy businesswoman she is, could definitely raise awareness and hopefully get people to protect their skin. We’re imagining something with the Vanderpump Rules staff in their swimsuits, putting on sunscreen. Just a thought!
