Season 2 of Revenge saw a series of stressful deaths including two main characters Fauxmanda Clarke and Declan Porter — proving there are few boundaries in the writers’ room. But would the hit shoreside drama really kill off Emily Thorne’s sexy sidekick, Nolan Ross?

The fan favorite has continued to live on the edge throughout the first two seasons, and actor Gabriel Mann thinks that Nolan’s death isn’t out of the question.

In fact, in a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph, the actor offered his own theories on how it could happen.

"Me, personally, I have a terrible fear of sharks and we teased with the fact, early in the series, that Nolan had a fear of the water,” he revealed. “So I think it might have something to do with that. The fact the series is set near the sea, it makes sense it's on the water or a boat."

And for those who think Nolan will never be killed off, Gabe has some thoughts for you!

"[Show creator] Mike Kelley is quoted as saying any character can be revenged, so nobody is safe and I don't think that's a bad way to approach a show like this because it does keep you on your toes and the circumstances within the show lend itself to that kind of energy anyway ... it keeps it fresh," Gabriel said.
