After that shocking Season 3 finale of Revenge, we now know that David Clarke (James Tupper) is alive and will be a huge part of the show going forward in Season 4. After he showed up in the final moments and left Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny) to die in the middle of a road, we’re worried about if he'll run into Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) — or even his ex-wife, Kara Wallace (Jennifer Jason Leigh)?!

“[Kara’s] definitely come up in conversations. Season 4 is going to be much more about the nature of Emily’s family as opposed to the Grayson family than it’s ever been before,” showrunner Sunil Nayar told E! Online. “She’s someone we’re talking about, but we haven’t figured out the stories yet, but we love her and we love the character. You never know, she could pop up.”

Hmm, it doesn’t sound like having David and Kara meet next season is high on the priority list for the creative minds behind the show — but at least Sunil didn’t dash our hopes! We think the show definitely needs to address David coming back into Emily’s life first, then have some fun with the dramatics of Kara coming back into the picture.

We’re thrilled to see how the dynamics of the show will change now that Emily’s revenge scheme has pretty much come to an end (we think). It’s going to be a long summer waiting to see what happens next!

Do you hope David and Kara cross paths in Season 4? Hit the comments and sound off!
