Ashley Madekwe Heads to Australia For the Melbourne Cup: Is Her Sparkling Look Hot or Not? (PHOTOS)

Revenge’s Ashley Madekwe took a break from the Hamptons to head down under, attending the famous Melbourne Cup horse races in Australia with a few A-List friends.

The British beauty wore a spearmint green and white Wren dress by Camilla and Marc that had a ruffled halter neckline and a tiered skirt, showing off her fabulous figure. She kept her jewelry simple, only wearing a thick gold Karine Sultan cuff and diamond Tacori earrings, but she went all out with her hairstyle!

Her high bun and side-swept bangs contrasted with the big sparking star diamanté Jennifer Behr headpiece on the side of her head, and we are kind of obsessed with it. But her Topshop teal and gold suede sandals are our favorite part of her ensemble.

In addition to looking fabulous in the V.I.P. “Birdcage” area — even holding the prized cup with her pal, former O.C. star Mischa Barton — Ashley wrote on her blog that she was enjoying “a rare moment of down time here in Australia,” attending the cup and promoting Revenge. If she’s planning on staying for awhile, we’re sure there are plenty more amazing outfits to come!
