They say Revenge is so sweet ... so why not make it last as long as possible?
That's what the cast of ABC's hit drama told Wetpaint Entertainment recently at Disney Media Distribution's International Upfront. Even though creator Mike Kelley says he has only "three super strong seasons planned," the stars think their captain can chart a course for many more than that!
"Ten seasons," Connor Paolo told us of how long Revenge can last.
But capable as Emily Thorne is, wouldn't she have enacted her plan to avenge her father by then? Perhaps not. Maybe Emily will want to draw it out, the cast noted.
"Well the whole thing is based on the Count of Monte Cristo, which of course is not about just offing people because you can, it’s about making them suffer," Christa Allen explained.
Gabriel Mann aded, "Dragging it out and dangling the carrot and dangle and dangle. Revenge is plausible for quite a while. Well, because it’s the repercussions of the revenge she takes."
Fans will have to see all those repercussions on a new night this fall, when Revenge moves from Wednesdays to a new home on Sundays at 9 p.m.
"It’s a huge vote of confidence," Gabriel says of the move.
"Gosh I mean I hope all the people that have been great of us on Wednesdays can transfer the love to Sundays.
Added Nick Wechsler, "Everybody change your work schedules."
