Is Emily Thorne’s Quest For Revenge Justified?
Seventeen years ago, Amanda Clarke’s father was framed for a crime he did not commit. Seventeen years later, Amanda is now Emily Thorne, a Hamptons socialite who is hell-bent on enacting revenge on those who wronged her father.
She destroyed a major hedge fund operator’s business, tarnished Lydia Davis’s reputation, publically embarrassed half of the Hamptons’ most important women while also ruining a therapist, and even burned down Mason Treadwell’s house.
It’s safe to say you shouldn’t piss this girl off. And though at first we didn’t think Ems would stop at anything to right the wrongs from years past, she did step away from killing the White-Haired Man in the Season 1 finale.
This revenge-centric gal has even admitted that her current path isn’t the one her father wanted for her, but she definitely is determined to set things right.
We’re not sure what end result Ems is hoping for, but is her revengenda justified? Does she have the right to destroy these people’s lives after they framed (and in some cases, murdered) her father?
