Is Jack Porter the Dead Body Underwater in the Opening Scene of Revenge Season 2?

At the start of last night’s Revenge Season 2 premiere, things weren’t looking very good for one Jack Porter — and we’re not referencing his ex-stripper baby mama.

We traveled to the bottom of the ocean, where a team of divers discovered a framed photo of the Porter family, Jack’s mariner’s compass, a shipwrecked “Amanda,” and oh yeah — a dead arm. Naturally, all signs pointed to Captain Jack being the waterlogged sailor, but on Revenge nothing is as it seems.

In our analysis, we noticed that the dead hand was wearing a very visible wedding ring. There have been mentions of a mysterious Season 2 wedding. Could this dead body be the groom?

The only other man we currently know who is potentially sporting a wedding ring is Conrad Grayson. So unless the Grayson Global CEO suddenly got noble and took his own life, we have a feeling that this dead arm belongs to a newcomer — Tyler Barrol style.

Could it be Emily Thorne’s new love, Aiden Mathias? Or is it one of the slew of new characters hitting the Hamptons this season? Or are we too quick to presume Jack’s safety? Tell us what you think below!
