Apart from tasing her daughter’s British co-worker and love interest, Kara Wallace Clarke hasn’t had an abundance of screen time on Revenge. But in last night’s episode, Kara was coming out, and she wanted the world to know.

She showed up at Grayson Manor in her finest cardigan to hug her bestie, Victoria Grayson. It was obvious Kara was digging up some dirt on her boy toy, the White-Haired Man, but Victoria’s steely gaze and pruning shears proved that Kara’s more of a threat than even we might anticipate.

Though she talks like a cracked-out hippie, Mama Clarke has an evil streak we quickly learned about when she unsuccessfully attempted to drown her own daughter. But is she rehabilitated, rejuvenated, and ready to be the mother Em’s always needed? Maybe.

Kara made an incredibly sincere-seeming apology to Fauxmanda about not being there for her and lying about her death. Amanda forgave her, and Emily said she’s working on getting there too, but should they?

Sure, Kara seemed motherly enough while holding her faux-grandchild, but there’s something a little more than disturbing about her hazy eyes and vacant expression that has us waiting for her to start stabbing everyone with their salad forks.

But what do you guys think? Is Kara good or evil on Revenge? Weigh in below!
