Josh Bowman Didn’t Think Revenge Would Be Successful

Though ABC’s Revenge is a big hit now, there once was a time when we weren’t sure if the show would make it to Season 2. And we weren’t the only skeptical ones …

The stars of the show were concerned when it first aired that it would lose out to other highly advertised pilots.

“We were very much an underdog to Charlie’s Angels, Pan Am, The Playboy Club — and they’re all gone, they’re all finished!” said Revenge actor Josh Bowman.

And while Josh thought the concept seemed to pan out, he wasn’t sure it would be executed properly.

“On paper, you can see, ‘Wow, this is going to be amazing,’ but until it’s actually transformed onto the screen, you don’t know,” he admitted.

We’re glad the genius that is Mike Kelley has been recognized, and that Revenge will be back for a scandalous Season 2!
