Revenge is back! And while our clam cams are still reeling from last night’s gasp-worthy premiere episode, “Destiny,” it’s only the beginning of the Hamptons drama.
If you don’t know by now, Victoria Grayson is alive and well, chillin’ in a modest log cabin in the Catskills. And though we thought Vicky might team up with Emily once she showed up at her door, it seems the Ice Queen’s lack of trust will keep that from ever happening.
It turns out that Victoria is in cahoots with the White-Haired Man, and since he specializes in making people disappear, she ordered him to take out Emily Thorne.
In next week’s episode, we’ll find out just how far Victoria’s willing to go and how deep Emily’s hatred runs. Here’s five things we learned from the promo for Episode 2, “Resurrection.”
1. “So it’s true. Even the devil himself didn’t want you.”
Emily and Charlotte aren’t the only ones who know Victoria’s whereabouts! Next week, Conrad shows up at her door, and that could mean bad news for our girl — especially since we later see her with some major cuts and bruises! Could Conrad have hurt his ex-wife to get back at her for faking her death?
2. “The next few moments are going to be the most important seconds of your miserable life.”
Victoria may be knocked down, but she’s back up again. We see her threatening someone angrily on the phone. It could be Emily (who we also see on the phone), but she typically speaks with a more refined evil when talking with her ex-daughter-in-law-to-be. We have a feeling that the call’s recipient is either Conrad or the White-Haired Man.
3. Em’s in the crosshairs!
We know the White-Haired Man is set to kill blondie, but it looks like Em’s in the someone else’s crosshairs, too. From the looks of things, she’s being scoped out by British babe Aiden.
4. “Victoria took my mother away from me. It’s time I took her daughter away from her.”
Despite her seemingly deeper connection to half-sister, Charlotte, Emily’s threat against Victoria seems to put her sibling in jeopardy. Nolan says, “That’s dark. Even for you,” but this “take away” could be more about an emotional detachment than one of the slitting-throats persuasion. We have a feeling Char will be just fine.
5. Conrad’s sweating bullets.
Even though Conrad is under investigation by the government, we see him and the FBI bust into an unknown home looking horrified. Could Charlotte be in trouble after all?
