Revenge Season 2, Episode 7: “Penance” Spoiler Clip: Aiden Mathis Gets Personal With Emily Thorne on a Romantic Date (VIDEO)

We respect Emily Thorne for guarding her heart on Revenge. After all, the majority of those she’s ever trusted have betrayed her in some way.

But we all know where things are heading with Aiden Mathis, so it’s about time she gave in a little. In this spoiler clip from Sunday night’s episode, “Penance,” Aiden tries to get Ems to open up a bit by offering a sincere apology regarding how things turned out with her mother.

After watching the first spoiler clip, we know Kara’s supposedly on her way out of Grayson Manor and headed to Colorado Springs (the hippie probably heard about the latest legislation to come out of that area).

During their breakfast date, Aiden grabs Emily’s hand and says, “Ems, I’m genuinely sorry with how things turned out with her. I know you wanted more.”

She moves her hand away and says, “It’s probably for the best.”
