Revenge Season 2: Is Jack Porter in Love With Emily Thorne? Actor Nick Wechsler Tells All!

We’ve watched and waited for the past 29 episodes of Revenge, hoping that one day, Emily Thorne and her childhood sweetheart, Jack Porter, would finally end up together.

And though the chemistry is undeniable, the timing’s never been right. First Ems was with Daniel, then Jack became a baby daddy, then Jack dumped his ex-stripper GF, then she fell off a balcony, then he took her back, and now they’re engaged.

Groan.

Actor Nick Wechsler recently told Wetpaint Entertainment that “there’s hope” for Emily and Jack, even if he has a baby with Amanda.

But is he really “in love” with her? In an interview with The Huffington Post, Nick explored the idea.

“I hesitate because maybe [show creator] Mike Kelley wouldn't use that term, ‘in love with her,’” he said. “But because he doesn't know it is this girl with whom he has this crazy history, he can't claim to know her incredibly well. She's kept him at a distance since he's reconnected with her, but he feels an incredibly strong thing for her, whatever it is.”

So is it love?

“Some people would call it love, but I think its current state is that it's on track to being love,” he admitted. “It would be love if he only knew, but right now, it's just like, ‘Oh my god. I'm drawn to that woman. I like her so much and it's inexplicable.’ [Laughs.] I think he's just kind of in this perpetual state of fascination.”
