From the start of Revenge, art major-turned-potential hooker-turned-party planner, Ashley Davenport, has only been looking out for herself. But in a new sneak peek for Episode 15, “Retribution,” (airing March 10), Ash confronts Conrad about his involvement in Amanda Clarke’s death.

Will she continue on this self-righteous path or revert to her Grayson-worshipping ways? In a new interview with E! News, actress Ashley Madekwe revealed that Ms. Davenport’s going to have a crisis of conscience in some upcoming episodes.

“She’s continued on her quest to help Conrad run for governor. And then her conscience comes into play,” she said. “Ashley’s very self-serving, she’s super ambitious, but she doesn’t always follow through, and at the very last minute, she kinda lets herself down and lets her conscience get in the way. So I think that her conscience is coming out towards the end of Season 2.”

So will Ash stop working for the Graysons and go off on her own? The way we interpret Ms. Madekwe’s comments, the party planner will stand up to the Graysons, but she’ll end up regretting her decision.

Personally, we’d like Ashley and Emily to team up. Now that Fauxmanda’s gone, Ms. Thorne could use a new female sidekick (Nolan doesn’t count).
