Revenge Season 2 Spoiler: How Was Patricia Barnes Related to the David Clarke Case?

Not only was Revenge back last night following the horrifically long Season 2 winter hiatus, but we were introduced to the Hamptons’ newest badass.

No, Emily Thorne doesn’t have a twin, but she does have a new ally. Patricia Barnes, the abused wife of the evil judge Robert Barnes, finally stood up to her attacker and told a room full of Hamptonites that the jury was tampered with in the David Clarke case.

She then slid off her white jacket to reveal some very black bruises, courtesy of her now-disgraced husband. But how did Ems know to seek out her new bestie?

Back in her Amanda Clarke days, the revenge queen got her hands on a letter passed to her father in jail. Sadly, a man lost his life when Judge Barnes thought the victim was responsible for the note, but Emily soon deduced that Patricia had penned the note.

So Patty got her own revenge, and Ms. Thorne got to dust off her red Sharpie and take down another bad guy. Hopefully we’ll see Patricia in upcoming episodes. Emily could use some of that gumption on her team.
