From the moment Kenny Ryan stepped foot in the Hamptons, he’s been stirring up (and occasionally solving) problems. And on Revenge, everything happens for a reason.
Kenny teamed up with preppy punk, Trey Chandler, and together they convinced Declan to rob Kenny’s house and then proceeded to catch him in the act.
Declan’s offense caused the Porters to go into major debt, which Kenny was more than happy to help them pay off in return for a piece of The Stowaway pie. But why does he want The Stowaway?
We’ve been racking our brains trying to figure out why a millionaire with prime real estate on the Hamptons’ shores would have his heart set on owning a crummy Montauk bar, and we think he’s somehow connected to the Porters — maybe even related to them.
In the synopsis for Episode 8, “Lineage,” there will be a flashback to Carl Porter Sr. Apparently he, “gets into hot water when he crosses the wrong people on the docks.”
Why would we flashback to a formerly insignificant character unless it was part of a larger plotline? We think Kenny is a half brother to Jack and Declan or potentially a creepy uncle. Why else would he want the family business so badly?
