With a show as hot as Revenge only in its second season, it’s hard to imagine the series ending anytime soon. But show creator Mike Kelley has been picturing that moment since the show first began.

"I know exactly how I want the show to end,” Mike told Variety. “How we get there, I'm leaving flexible because I want to honor the commitment we have with the network and studio. So, I don't want to say that I have two seasons or three seasons or four seasons. … I know the themes of each season, and then you do a little bit of work in terms of flexibility, but I do have it mapped out. There are several ways we can get there."

But what exactly will that ending be? Back in July, lead actress Emily VanCamp told Access Hollywood that Mike had let her in on the secret to the end of the series.

“That’s sort of what Mike Kelley says will be the end — you’ll see Victoria and Emily standing there in a sea of bodies and it’s a bit of like ‘Did you really find peace?’” she said.

[Pause for chills]

Hopefully this series end won’t be for many many, many years. What do you think of Mike’s plans for the show’s final scene? Weigh in below!
