Revenge’s Madeleine Stowe (Victoria Grayson) had the fright of her life on November 28 when a gigantic oak tree fell on her car outside of her Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles. Madeline had just climbed out of her vehicle minutes earlier when she heard a crash and ran to see her wheels crushed under the tree.

“I just drove home and I went in the house,” Madeline tells KTLA. “About five minutes later, I heard this huge crash and the car alarm went off and this huge beautiful, beautiful old oak tree just pan-caked the car.”

Thank goodness Mads managed to escape harm’s way! We can’t say the same for the oak, though: The poor old tree was chopped up and discarded by the Los Angeles City Fire Department, as it was blocking the cul-de-sac Madeline lives on.
